An important update for students is that the new 40% passing policy does not apply to SSC Part II candidates in 2026. Students appearing in this year’s examination will pass under the existing 33% passing criteria. The revised 40% minimum passing marks and the updated grading system will be implemented for SSC Part II from the 2027 annual examinations.
After the result announcement, the FBISE Result Gazette 2026 will also be published. Schools and students can use the gazette to verify results and view the overall examination statistics, including the number of candidates, pass percentage, and board performance.
Students satisfied with their marks can proceed with admissions to intermediate colleges. Those who believe there is an error in their result may apply for paper rechecking according to FBISE rules.
