Another key trend visible in the gazette is the performance of female students. Girls once again remained ahead of boys by securing an overall 94.04% pass rate, while boys achieved 88.74%. Despite fewer candidates appearing, girls produced more successful results, continuing the trend seen in previous FBISE examinations.

The Science Group remained the best-performing category. Regular Science students achieved a remarkable 95.91% success rate, while Humanities students also recorded excellent results. Among ex-private candidates, the Humanities group performed comparatively better than the Science group.

The board also released subject-wise statistics, showing exceptionally high success rates in several compulsory subjects. Meanwhile, General Mathematics-II remained one of the most challenging subjects with a pass rate of 68.64%.

Regional performance also varied across the country. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded the highest overall success rate at 97.89%, followed by Sindh, Balochistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The Federal Area recorded the lowest pass percentage among the major regions included in the gazette.

Students should note that the minimum passing requirement for SSC-II First Annual Examination 2026 remained 33%. The 40% passing marks policy announced under the revised grading framework will not apply to this examination. Instead, it is expected to be implemented from the SSC First Annual Examination 2027, along with the updated grading system.

Students who have not yet checked their results can visit the official FBISE website, enter their roll number, and download their result card. Results are also available through SMS by sending FB followed by the Roll Number to 5050.

The latest FBISE statistics highlight another successful examination cycle, with more than nine out of every ten students passing.
