Thousands of students across Punjab are eagerly waiting for their Matric examination results after completing the annual board exams earlier this year. The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) have now shared a tentative schedule, giving students and parents an idea of when the results are expected to be announced.
According to the expected timeline, Class 10 (SSC Part II) results are likely to be declared on August 6, 2026, while Class 9 (SSC Part I) results are expected on September 2, 2026. However, these dates are still tentative, and students should wait for the official notification issued by their respective boards.
If the proposed schedule remains unchanged, 10th-class students will receive their results first, followed by 9th-class students a few weeks later. This pattern has been followed by the Punjab education boards in previous years to ensure smooth result processing and verification.
The results will be announced simultaneously by all nine Punjab boards, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, DG Khan, and Sahiwal. Students will be able to check their marks through the official websites of their respective boards using their roll numbers once the results are released.
For many students, these results play a crucial role in determining admission to Intermediate (First Year) programs. Educational institutions usually begin their admission process soon after the matric results are announced, making timely access to result information especially important.

Meanwhile, the tentative academic calendar also indicates that Class 12 (HSSC Part II) results are expected on September 23, while Class 11 (HSSC Part I) results are likely to be announced on October 22, 2026. The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) is expected to release its SSC results earlier than Punjab boards.
Students are encouraged to keep their roll number slips safe and stay connected with their respective education boards for the latest announcements. Once the official dates are confirmed, the boards will also publish detailed instructions on how candidates can check their results online, via SMS, and through the official result gazette.
